Bubbles and Big Reds Valentine’s Day Tasting and Date Night on Feb 14th!

This year we are hosting a very fun, layered event, for you & your loved one or friends!

We will have a luxury wine tasting from 4-6pm for $40 per person, we then encourage you to eat dinner over at Prosecco!

Then head on back to The Grape where we will have a dessert bar and a small dessert wine tasting ready for you while you enjoy the amazing jazz music from none other than Sing Low Indigo!

You don’t have to attend each “layer”, but you will save money if you buy the full experience, PLUS we will give you a $5 coupon per ticket to use on your dinner over at Prosecco!

About us

The Grape Choice is a Wine Store and Wine Bar in Downtown Kirkland. We are a small female owned business with a big personality.

We have been serving the Kirkland Community for 40 years with the largest privately owned wine selection on the eastside. Over the years we have slowly grown into a fun place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine, whether indoors or on our large water view patio.

We have weekly events like wine tastings and live music nights as well as monthly events like wine club release tastings, larger tasting and presale events (like our annual Champagne Tasting & Thanksgiving Tasting), and monthly birthday bashes!

We DO NOT take reservations.  We love our casual first come first served atmosphere, we have lots of room, and it’s a great place to make a friend at one of our community style tables!

Public Non Ticketed Events Coming Up

Mondays & Tuesdays

Mondays are 15% off wines on the menu and beer/cider now with Tuesdays having 15% off food!

Wednesdays & Wine Tastings

Our Wednesday Tastings have been a community event for decades and are in full swing from 5-8pm each week! Whether it’s a Winemaker, Winery Representative, or local expert. We showcase 4-5 wines for $10 per tasting & $8 for wine club members each week and you can purchase those wines for a discount that day.

Thursdays & Deals

Every Thursday in January, we will be hosting a Non-Alcoholic Tasting from 5pm-7:30pm! Only $10 per tasting & $8 for wine club members!

Fridays & Live Music

Friday afternoons are for happy hours from 12pm-3pm. Friday nights are hoppin, as we have live music each week (on the patio when weather permits) from 5/5:30-8pm. These nights are busy so we suggest coming and grabbing a table early as we do not take reservations.

Weekend Deals & Bashes

We have our monthly birthday bash the first Saturday of every month. We sometimes have live music on Saturdays that is always free!
Wine Club Release Tastings after the 14th of each month. International Tastings & Food pairings sometimes too! And Sundays are our Hot Dog & Happy Hour specials! Join us from 1-6 PM for a day of football and hot dogs. Craft your own doggone delicious creation for just $6 a pop while cheering on the game! And enjoy$2 off all wine and food from 12pm-3pm.
